Candidates must have extensive program management experience to successfully.

Responsibilities Include:

Lead, coordinate, and facilitate the planning and execution of our customer-funded new products using New Product Introduction (NPI) methodologies
Develop aggressive, but realistic schedules with engineering managers, development partners and customers
Drive on-time delivery milestones, communicate project status, identify risks as well as recommend contingency plans, when appropriate
Manage the dynamics of product development, both at a subsystem and system integration level.
Manage and track program budgets, reporting status to executives, engineering managers and customers
Impart constructive influence to engineering teams through careful task analysis, risk and resource assessments, and negotiation with the appropriate managers
Ensure that projects have necessary staff to successfully achieve all program goals and deliverables
Maintain a consistent tactical oversight on business effectiveness and initiate process improvements, as needed
Specifically focus on the effectiveness of engineering disciplines and development of deliverables, including specifications, design analysis, documentation, prototype design verification testing, design for manufacturability/test/cost, design release to manufacturing and technology transfer
Utilize Intuitive 8.1 ERP System

Additional Responsibilities:

Coordinate program activities by preparing meeting agendas, coordinating meetings, writing meeting minutes, tracking action items, preparing presentations, conducting reviews and issue escalation
Successfully identify and pro-actively manage issues and opportunities that arise during the course of initiatives and programs execution

Preferred Experience:

Previous Program Management experience with the Department of Defense contracts
Previous experience leading engineering hardware product developments
Familiarity with a broad range of technologies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including listening, giving and receiving feedback, counseling and coaching, negotiation and conflict management
Experience facilitating a collaborative, problem-solving approach with cross functional teams
Proven track record of on-time/on-budget delivery
Strong presentation skills
Excellent analytical skills to successfully understand strategic issues, goals, and objectives in a broad enterprise context

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
10 years of engineering experience
5 plus years of program management experience

Responsibilities Include:

Mechanical design in SolidWorks:

o Concept development

o 3D Layout

o Part design

Engineering documentation and drawings

Bill of Materials management & revision control
Design of thermal management systems (liquid and air cooled) and related components
Packaging of electrical systems:
- Power electronics enclosures
- Bus Bar layout and analysis
- Wiring Harness design
Prototyping and testing
- Identify and work with vendors to get prototype designs realized
- Build and test prototypes
- Document issues and correct designs for next iteration prototypes & products

Essential Skills:

BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
5-10 yrs relevant industry experience including electro-mechanical assemblies

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Monitor, Analyze, Improve, and Report on supplier performance to provide key performance information to the quality manager, senior management, and outside departments,
Responsible for the development of inspection criteria, methods for new materials, components, and sub-assemblies,
Provide technical consultation to supplier on sampling plans for inspection and acceptance criteria for new or existing materials and components
Assist suppliers in formation of statistical sampling plans, inspection methodology, and procedures,

Qualifications and Experience include:

Previous Supplier Quality Engineering experience in growth oriented business with an emphasis in electro – mechanical assemblies,
7+ years experience in all phases of inspection, testing, process control and assurance
Technical degree or equivalent, electrical engineering preferred
Experience in deploying supplier quality systems in commercial businesses
Initiating and managing Quality improvement programs including root cause identification and corrective action for supply base activities
Thorough understanding of inspection techniques, statistical plans and lot acceptance sampling methodologies.
Knowledge or experience with electro/mechanical assemblies
Experience working in a manufacturing & product development environment.
