Our solutions focus on integrated systems and the development remarkable products that are smaller and significantly more efficient compared to the commercially-available, off-the-shelf integrated products provided by competitors.
 
We are seeking a Engineering Test Technician to help us develop test our next generation, break-through electric air-conditioning products.

Responsibilities:

·         Set-up, continuous improvement, maintenance and ownership over the HVAC R&D testing facility
·         Assembly and commissioning of sophisticated air-conditioning prototypes and supporting test equipment
·         Work directly with design engineering teams on new and current product test issues
·         Partner with engineering staff to define, execute and report detailed engineering and validation tests
·         On-going support of our mobile HVAC development teams
·         Procure, install, configure and maintain test instrumentation and hardware
·         Support of current product production when necessary

Essential skills and experience:

·         Ten years experience in related field
·         Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical test instruments
·         Knowledge of temperature, airflow and cooling testing
·         Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) including formal Design and Production Validation Testing and Reporting
·         Able to pro-actively communicate with all employees and work well in a fast-paced environment
·         Good hands – serious mechanical inclination
·         Detail-oriented
·         Proven troubleshooting skills
·         Ability to take ownership of problems and see them through to their conclusion
·         Enthusiastic team player – individual contributors who prefer to work in relative isolation are not likely to succeed in this role.
·         Experience with aircraft HVAC or electrical power systems experience is desired
