Electrical Super Technician with High Voltage Experience

Our solutions focus on integrated systems and the development remarkable products that are smaller and significantly more efficient compared to the commercially-available, off-the-shelf integrated products provided by competitors.
We are seeking a Electrical Super Technician with high voltage experience to help us develop our next generation, break-through products.
Responsibilities:· Set-up, maintenance and ownership over the Electronics R&D testing facility
· Assembly and commissioning of sophisticated power electronics prototypes and supporting test equipment
· Work directly with design engineering teams on new and current product test issues
· Partner with engineering staff to define, execute and report detailed engineering and validation tests
· On-going support of production power electronics development teams
· Procure, install, configure and maintain test instrumentation and hardware
· Support production of current products when necessary
Essential skills and experience:· 5+ years experience in related field
· Extensive experience with high voltage/high current applications
· Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical test instruments
· Knowledge of temperature, airflow and cooling testing
· Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) including formal Design and Production Validation Testing and Reporting
· Able to pro-actively communicate with all employees and work well in a fast-paced environment
· Good hands – serious mechanical inclination
· Detail-oriented
· Proven troubleshooting skills
· Ability to take ownership of problems and see them through to their conclusion
· Enthusiastic team player – individual contributors who prefer to work in relative isolation are not likely to succeed in this role.
· Experience with aircraft electrical power systems experience is desired
